In one online giving day, we raised more than $100,000 toward our mission of boosting people of potential to self-sufficiency. A big incentive came from Matching Donation of $50,000! Each year, generous supporters like you celebrate Give to the Max Day by making their donation between now and Nov 13th. Your generosity with this project will make it possible for MicroGrants to boost TWICE the number of motivated individuals to financial stability and independence in the year to come.
There are 3 ways to DOUBLE YOUR DONATION for the Give to the Max Day MATCHING project; For larger donations ($500 and up) we recommend the first two options.
- Send your gift by check anytime between now and November 13th with a ‘GTMDay’ notation
- Donate online directly at our website www.microgrants.net/donate. Click the red DONATE button. Be sure to note ‘GTMDay’ in the ‘Add Special Instructions to the Seller’ box. This box appears on the ‘Review your Donation’ page.
- On Thursday, November 13, 2014, you can go to https://givemn.org/organization/Microgrants and donate on the Give to the Max Day page. Or you can schedule a donation anytime before the 13th to occur during that 24 hour period. Please be aware that by donating on Give MN, 4.9% of your donation does not go to MicroGrants as GIVEMN takes 4.9% to cover their administration fees.

The mission of MicroGrants is to spur economic self-sufficiency by giving strategic grants to low income people of potential through Partner Agencies. We partner with established agencies who already have the structures in place, and are moving people into work and out of poverty. They select, coach and follow up with our grantees. This keeps MicroGrants simple and overhead low with more than 82% of your donation going directly to our grant program.
